Frequently asked questions
Do we need a teacher who speaks French?
No. A native French speaker leads every lesson live on your classroom screen. Your teacher or teaching assistant simply supports the children in the room — no French knowledge needed.
Which ages do you teach?
We specialise in KS1 and KS2 (ages 4–11) and can also support early secondary. Lessons are pitched and planned to suit the year group and ability.
How are the lessons delivered?
Lessons are delivered live by video to your classroom screen or interactive whiteboard. Children see and hear the tutor in real time and join in with songs, games and conversation.
Can you cover a lesson if a teacher is off?
Yes. Our supply cover option lets a teaching assistant host the class while a native French speaker leads a full French lesson live — keeping learning on track at short notice.
Are your tutors checked?
Our tutors are native or near-native French speakers experienced with UK classrooms, and we carry out references and DBS checks. We're happy to share details on request.
How does payment work?
We invoice the school directly. Pricing is per single class group; multi-class and multi-academy-trust discounts are available — just ask in the booking form.
